Estate planning is not just for those who can “afford” it. If one does not properly plan for his or her death, the results can be devastating for family members left behind. Without proper planning, family can be left straddled with debt, taxes, and a lot of headaches. With proper planning, we can come up with a plan for dealing with your debt, paying any necessary taxes, and avoiding most, if not all, of those headaches. A little planning can go a long way.
We partner with the Legal Aid Society, through their Volunteer Lawyer Program, to offer pro bono estate planning for clients who qualify for Legal Aid’s services. This is our way of giving back to our community and ensuring that our contribution goes to those who truly need it.
For those who may not qualify for Legal Aid or may not have come to us directly as a referral from Legal Aid’s Volunteer Lawyer Program, we may still choose to offer our services pro bono or at a reduced rate, depending on the circumstances.
We reserve the right to choose when to offer pro bono and reduced rate costs.
